The Arrowmax AM-417-BC14 turn-buckle shaft is supplied as a two-piece RC linkage component. Machined from titanium, the 3x32mm shaft reduces mass while offering corrosion resistance, suitable for steering and suspension links on 1/10 electric touring cars where precise length adjustment is required.
Fitting is straightforward for those familiar with turn-buckles: remove the old rod from ball cups or rod ends, match thread direction and required length, then fasten with the original lock nuts or a small amount of thread locker. Always check thread engagement and linkage alignment prior to final tightening to ensure consistent suspension travel and steering behaviour.
Tuning advice: titanium reduces rotating and reciprocating mass in link assemblies and resists wear in heavy-use situations, but it will not change suspension geometry on its own. Use these shafts when replacing bent or worn rods or when you want a long-lasting spare for TRF417 linkages.
