TAMIYA BBX/XV01 Steel Rear Diff 52T BBX52S Upgrade for TA-06 by GPM  [BBX52S]

This fully assembled rear differential is designed for compatible TAMIYA 1/10 models. The BBX52S replaces the BBX BB-01 factory rear differential (54471), transforming the ball-type arrangement into a 40Cr steel bevel-gear unit with 52 teeth. It is delivered preassembled and includes thin stainless washers for fine adjustment of bearing clearance.

Fitment notes: BBX models require removal of the two foam spacers prior to installation, while XV01 installs without spacer removal. Differential fluid is not included and must be added at assembly. To equip both ends of a car with this unit, order two sets.

Service and setup advice: two 10x12x0.3mm stainless shims are provided to address bearing play; use a medium-strength threadlocker on screws to reduce the risk of loosening in use. No aftermarket machining is necessary beyond routine rear gearbox access.
