This adjustable main shaft is produced as an aftermarket replacement for the TAMIYA CC01 scale chassis, featuring a 6061-T6 alloy outer body and a hardened steel swing cross head to provide a compromise between lightness and strength for scale crawling.
The design uses a 6061-T6 aluminium sleeve coupled with hardened steel #45 cross head swing shafts, preserving the original cross-pin interface while lowering rotating mass. The universal cross head increases steering angle and helps maintain tyre contact on technical obstacles.
The unit measures 126mm in total length and is intended for short chassis layouts with a 240mm wheelbase. Fitting requires basic CC-01 drivetrain disassembly to replace the factory main shaft, and the part is meant for hobby RC crawling use only.
