The JR-CC201-BK is an aluminum front brace made for the Tamiya CC-02 chassis that incorporates a servo mount, supplied in a black anodized finish as a robust alternative to the original plastic part. It is designed to fix the front servo more solidly to the chassis front, reducing play at the mounting point and helping to preserve steering geometry under load.
For CC-02 setups that use the factory front servo position, the unit installs to the existing front brace and chassis attachment points and accepts a standard servo in the original location. Verify servo horn clearance and link geometry before final tightening and try to reuse compatible chassis fasteners. In use, the aluminium brace increases front-end stiffness which typically results in improved steering precision and repeatability, especially with stronger servos or harsher driving conditions.
