These front upper suspension link arms are a machined aluminium upgrade for the Tamiya CC-02 chassis. The gun metal finish replaces the standard plastic links to provide a firmer upper mounting point while maintaining the CC-02's factory geometry.
Designed as direct replacements for the CC-02 link positions, the components reduce flex at mounting points and give a more predictable response when tuning camber and toe through the suspension. That predictability is useful for scale trail driving and hard bashing alike.
Fitting is done using the stock mounting locations and hardware pattern of the CC-02, so no chassis modification is required when installed at the original points. As with other metal hop-ups, check screw types and thread engagement before final assembly and use compatible fasteners to avoid damaging the chassis or link mounts.
These link arms are intended as a tuning upgrade rather than a complete suspension conversion; combine them with appropriate shock settings and correct wheel alignment to achieve the handling balance you want.
