This JR-CC208-S rear upper suspension link arm kit is an aluminium substitute for the factory rear upper links on the Tamiya CC-02 chassis, intended to improve durability and repeatable geometry.

The upper link arms establish the top mounting locations of the rear suspension and influence roll centre and toe-in changes during compression. Using aluminium reduces pivot flex versus stock plastic parts, helping the suspension maintain a consistent geometry under load and improving predictability when tuning.

Fitting generally utilises the CC-02's existing rear link mounts. Examine original screws and ball studs for wear and reuse only if serviceable; otherwise install OEM-equivalent replacements. Ensure each pivot moves freely after assembly to prevent binding.

Setup advice: aluminium links may alter the vehicle's response to changes in shock length, anti-squat and swaybar settings compared with stock links. Adjust incrementally and trial on your preferred surface to achieve the desired handling balance.
