This 18 piece rear shock mount kit is an RC scale replacement designed for the Tamiya CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 chassis, supplied as model CC2030. It replaces the stock plastic mounts with aluminum alloy components to provide more consistent damper positioning and improved resistance to wear during trail driving and scale crawling.

Fabricated from aluminum 6061 T6, the part balances lighter weight with the tensile strength required to handle impacts and chassis flex common to CC-02 running. A selection of mounting holes provides stepped changes to damper angle and stroke geometry, allowing ride height and rebound to be tuned without replacing other suspension parts.

Fitting is done with the supplied screws and collars and follows standard M3 hardware methods used on CC-02 assemblies, making the upgrade straightforward for field or workshop maintenance.
