Upgrade overview for front steering

This aftermarket kit replaces the standard front servo horn and steering links on Tamiya CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 models to create a more resilient, maintainable steering assembly. The combination of brass and aluminium with stainless-steel hardware reduces play and improves corrosion resistance while concentrating on servo protection and tunable tie-rod length.

The adjustable link uses opposing threads for mechanical length changes; rotate the link to alter length, then use the tie-rod positioning hole to set the final alignment. The servo horn incorporates a spring feature to cushion impacts and help prevent shock reaching the servo.

Materials were selected for longevity in hobby use: stainless steel for threaded and wear-prone parts, and brass/aluminium for a rigid mounting interface that matches CC02 steering geometry.
