Machined aluminum rear gearbox for CC02

This RC-scale rear gearbox set is designed for the TAMIYA CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 platform and replaces the OEM rear gear housing and fasteners with a machined aluminum assembly aimed at improving alignment and reducing drivetrain lash. The kit contains the gearbox housings and the fasteners required to secure the rear differential and the rear axle mounting points used by the suspension links.

Crafted from aluminum 6061-T6, the components offer closer dimensional stability compared with many plastic housings, which assists in reducing play around the differential and keeping spur and pinion meshing consistent under load. The metal construction also assists heat transfer away from nearby gears and bearings during extended operating periods.
