This aluminum front upright, reference JR-THS01-LB, is compatible with TAMIYA Hotshot, Bigwig, and Boomerang kits. The metal carrier offers reduced flex versus the original plastic piece while preserving the chassis mounting points.

The unit is anodized blue and supplied with a 5mm long ball connector to accommodate linkages using extended ball ends. As an aftermarket upgrade it is intended to sharpen steering feedback and deliver a more repeatable front-end response under load.

Installation guidance: remove the stock upright and transfer any necessary bearings or shims, then install the aluminum upright into the stock hub position and secure as per the chassis layout. Verify steering arc and tie-rod alignment to ensure no binding and confirm the ball connector orientation matches the steering arm.

Adjustment note: switching to aluminum uprights can alter dynamic toe and camber under cornering loads. Expect a firmer front feel and balance this change with suitable shock and linkage tuning using JR-THS01-LB.
