This aluminium front shock tower is an aftermarket upgrade aimed at the Tamiya Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher models. With a gun metal finish and machined construction, it replaces the factory plastic tower to provide a more rigid top-mount for the front suspension.
Installation is standard: remove the OEM tower, move over any spacers or mounts, then secure the alloy tower with the original fasteners. Be cautious with torque when fastening into alloy parts to protect thread integrity.
As an upgrade it stabilises the shock mounting points and reduces unwanted flex that can alter ride height and steering feel. It is compatible with common shock setups used on Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher without requiring additional part changes.
