This red anodized aluminum shock tower stay is an aftermarket replacement for the TAMIYA TT-02 chassis. Precision machined, it replaces the standard tower to give a more rigid mounting location for both front and rear dampers while keeping the original mount geometry unchanged.
Fitment uses the TT-02's factory tower mounting holes and existing hardware, so no drilling or chassis alteration is necessary. The stay is a straight swap for plastic or plated steel towers and preserves the stock shock eyelet spacing while increasing stiffness where the shock anchors attach.
As a tuning element, the stay reduces flex in the shock tower area during load, which can improve damper consistency and make suspension setup more repeatable. It is intended for hobby TT-02 on-road and touring applications where stronger shock anchoring is desired.
