CW-01 Front Mount: Fit and Function

Manufactured from machined aluminium with a gun metal coating, this front bumper mount suits the Tamiya CW-01 chassis and replaces the standard plastic mounting bracket. It provides a sturdier attachment while retaining compatibility with CW-01 mounting arrangements.

Fitting is simple: remove the original bumper mount, align the aluminium unit to the existing holes, and secure with the OEM CW-01 screws or suitable replacements. Do not over-tighten fasteners to avoid thread wear, and confirm alignment before final tightening to maintain correct bumper and body positioning.

The mount is intended as a structural enhancement to limit front-end flex, helping the bumper hold position through minor knocks and during setup changes, and it works in concert with other CW-01 components when tuning handling balance.
