CW-01 compatible front lower arm with spring mount

This aluminium front lower arm is made to replace the stock plastic lower arm on Tamiya CW-01 based models such as The Hornet and Grasshopper. The integrated spring mount accepts the standard front spring position and aims to preserve the vehicle's intended suspension geometry.

The arm is CNC-machined from aluminium to give reliable mounting locations versus moulded components, helping to reduce alignment drift during repeated use. It is supplied to align with the CW-01 front suspension arrangement so fitting should not require moving bulkheads or shock towers on compatible chassis.

From a tuning perspective, the arm reduces play at the lower pivot and provides a firmer platform for camber and caster adjustments via the existing mounting points. It is intended to be used with the stock shock units, axles, and wheel hubs to offer steadier handling characteristics.

Install as a direct metal swap to maintain CW-01 geometry while enabling precise suspension tuning; always verify orientation and confirm hardware alignment before final torque.

The arm is specified for Tamiya CW-01 platform variants, including The Hornet and Grasshopper. Always cross-check dimensions against your chassis before fitting.
In most CW-01 builds the original screws fit. If aftermarket hubs or different spacers are used, verify screw length and thread engagement prior to final assembly.
The arm is produced to match the lower arm position and should be fitted in the correct orientation; check the part profile against the chassis so left and right placement is correct.
Surface finishing is possible, but ensure coatings do not interfere with mounting dimensions or fitment; recheck clearances after any finishing process.
