Alloy replacement gearbox designed for Tamiya DT and Hornet EVO models

This aluminum gear box is supplied as a direct aftermarket alternative for Tamiya DT02, DT03, DT04 and Hornet EVO platforms. The JR-THNE06-RD housing swaps in for the factory plastic case to provide a firmer seating for spur and pinion alignment while preserving original gear placement and service access.

Machined from red anodized aluminium, the shell functions as a structural upgrade to stabilise gear mesh under increased stress and extended running. Where compatible, the original spur, pinion and bearings may be reused in the new housing.

Buyer guidance: confirm your chassis code prior to purchase, inspect bearings and fixings for wear, and apply a small amount of light gear grease to the teeth to reduce friction after assembly.
