The package includes two steel drive shafts designed to replace the original plastic shafts in Tamiya DT02, DT03, and TT02B drivetrains. Suited to scale electric on-road and touring use, these shafts offer a simple upgrade path when a metal component is preferred for increased wear resistance.
Compatibility: these shafts are made for the Tamiya plastic cup joint and must not be used with Tamiya 53790. When fitting, check cup engagement, verify drivetrain alignment and gearbox/bearing clearance, and ensure smooth rotation before completing assembly. As an upgrade they reduce flex under load compared with stock plastic parts, helping to keep spur and pinion engagement stable under load.
