The JR-DT309-GU kit swaps the DT-03's stock plastic servo saver and tie rods for an aluminum hi-torque servo saver (25T) and upgraded aluminum link rods. It is an aftermarket tuning option for the TAMIYA DT-03 chassis intended to reduce steering play and create a more rigid linkage between the servo and steering knuckles.
Only compatible with DT-03 based assemblies. The saver interfaces with a 25T spline, so confirm your servo output uses 25T or plan to use an adapter. The aluminum tie rods are supplied to lower flex and deliver more consistent steering under load.
Fitting notes: remove the factory saver and rods, transfer any bearings or spacers as required, and install the aluminium components aligned with the steering geometry. Inspect for binding through the full throw and re-torque fasteners after the initial run. Use this upgrade to sharpen steering response rather than to change suspension dynamics.
