This radio tray is built to suit the Tamiya F104 chassis that uses the BQC quick-connect layout and corresponds to part F104-20/LB. It provides a slim mounting platform for the servo and receiver so the electronics remain organised inside the F104 arrangement.
Installation is focused on clean mechanical alignment: the tray places the servo and receiver inboard, supplies defined screw positions for standard F104 servo mounts, and leaves space for neat antenna and power lead routing. Its purpose is to tidy the electronics layout rather than modify the electronics, helping to keep centre of gravity and wiring consistent across sessions.
From a setup perspective the tray improves consistency. Securing the servo and receiver in repeatable locations reduces variables during suspension or steering trim testing, allowing tuners to focus on chassis adjustments without continually re-routing equipment.
