The TF201C-014 rear damper is an aftermarket replacement part created for the Tamiya F201 chassis. It is a direct-fit hop-up intended to restore or modify rear suspension damping while preserving the original chassis geometry.
The damper is intended to mount at the stock rear shock positions on F201-style setups. In service it replaces worn rear damping components and plays a role in managing rebound and compression behaviour, affecting rear traction and mid-corner stability.
Fitment notes: align the damper with the rear shock tower and fasten using the original hardware or equivalent fasteners. After fitting, check that suspension travel is free, mounting orientation is correct, and movement through the travel is consistent prior to track use.
Tuning notes: as a rear damper replacement it works in concert with springs and damping medium to influence axle load transfer and rear grip. Make incremental adjustments and evaluate results on a surface similar to your regular running conditions.
