Replacement dampers for GF01 models

This aluminium front and rear damper set is designed for the Tamiya GF01 chassis and supplied as one pair with plastic ball tops on the piston rods. They are intended as scale suspension replacements to refresh worn shocks or provide a simple upgrade path for GF01 hobbyists.

The dampers are built with an aluminium outer body to keep bore stiffness consistent and come with plastic ball tops to interface with standard GF01 ball studs. Fitting requires removal of the original shocks, transfer of compatible springs and shafts where appropriate, and reattachment using the kit mounting hardware. Fill and service the shocks using standard shock oil and assembly practices.

In practical tuning these dampers adjust rebound and compression responses within the GF01 suspension layout. Modify spring preload, try different oil viscosities, and vary damping length to tune handling to track conditions and driving style, noting these are model-scale parts for RC use.
