This aluminium rear shock tower is supplied as 1 pcs for the Tamiya GF01 touring chassis and serves as an aftermarket hop-up to replace the stock plastic tower. It provides a stiffer attachment point for the rear shocks to improve consistency under load.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original tower, align the replacement with the chassis mounting holes, and secure it with the OEM hardware or compatible hex screws. The tower retains the standard GF01 rear suspension layout and does not need chassis alteration.

For setup and testing, the aluminium tower minimises flex at the shock mount so that spring and damper adjustments produce clearer handling changes. This is useful when tuning spring rates, shock oil, or sway bar settings at the track.
