Precision aluminium steering for the Hornet EVO

This aluminium steering assembly with bearing is an aftermarket replacement intended to be compatible with the TAMIYA Hornet EVO (58742) chassis. Manufactured as model JR-THNE04-GU by JAZRIDER, the part replaces stock plastic steering components with a more rigid metal assembly to improve steering consistency and reduce wear.

The unit fits precision bearings at steering pivots to cut play and is finished in gun metal on the aluminium pieces. It is a direct-swap solution when the original steering geometry and mounting points are retained, and is specified for 1/10 scale buggy use only.

Fitting involves removing the original front linkage and installing the JR-THNE04-GU assembly, checking servo horn clearance and suspension link clearance during reassembly. After fitting, confirm servo neutral position and steering travel to ensure correct operation.

In terms of service life, the aluminium assembly delivers greater durability than plastic parts; regular bearing lubrication and torque checks will extend performance. This item is for model use only and not suitable for real vehicles.
