This graphite steering plate is an aftermarket hop-up made for the Tamiya M05 chassis and sold as model M05-25/WO. The graphite unit replaces the stock steering plate to raise stiffness at the steering assembly and deliver a more consistent steering input for both setup work and track running.

It fits M05 variants that keep the standard steering geometry. Installation is a straightforward swap: remove the original plate, transfer linkages and fixings to the graphite piece, then check steering neutral and alignment. The part is intended for model-level tuning and maintenance in 1/10 on-road applications.

From a tuning viewpoint the plate alters how steering forces route through the mount, so expect to revisit toe and Ackermann settings after fitting to fine tune balance. Treat this as a chassis refinement rather than a change to servos or the ESC.
