Designed for the TAMIYA M05/M06/MF-01X family, this front suspension arm set replaces the original plastic arms with machined aluminium components. The upgrade increases front-end rigidity to help maintain consistent steering characteristics during setup and running.
Fitting to compatible chassis is straightforward: remove the factory arms, check hinge pin and ball cup locations, then fit the aluminium arms to the existing mount points. Retain original fasteners where appropriate, ensure suspension and steering travel remain free, and verify there is no contact with the servo horn after installation.
When tuning, expect less unwanted movement compared with plastic arms, which can make steering inputs feel crisper and geometry adjustments behave in a more repeatable manner. After installation re-check wheel alignment and, if the front feels noticeably firmer, try small changes to shock length or spring rates.
Routine checks: inspect the aluminium for dents or scoring after impact, confirm hinge pins and ball cups are within service limits, and keep pivot points clean and lightly lubricated. Replace any damaged hardware and retorque fixings during maintenance.
