The outer axle joint is a steel replacement intended for Tamiya M06 chassis RC cars and serves as the external connection on the axle assembly. It substitutes a more durable metal component for worn or softer originals while matching the M06 outer axle location.
Fitment focuses on the M06 series where the external joint geometry and mounting match the OEM axle interface. The part is furnished in a gunmetal finish similar to other metal hop-up components.
Installation follows normal axle service practice: remove the stock outer joint, fit the steel joint in the same orientation, and secure using the original fasteners and recommended torque settings. This is sold as an RC-scale accessory for model use only.
When setting up the model, a steel outer joint reduces visible wear at the outer axle interface and helps maintain consistent steering geometry through longer running, which supports predictable behaviour on touring and drift circuits without altering suspension geometry.
