This graphite front shock tower serves as a replacement hop-up for the Tamiya M07 chassis and carries model number M07-09. It is aimed at providing a stiffer attachment point for the front shocks so suspension geometry remains stable through setup and track use.
Installation follows standard M07 procedures: fit the tower to the front bulkhead using the chassis original mounting points and fasteners. During assembly ensure shock shafts are straight and that screw lengths do not interfere with travel; changes to tower thickness or pick-up can alter ride height and steering response, so re-check preload and droop after fitting.
In tuning practice the graphite tower changes front-end stiffness and the way forces transmit into the suspension. Use it when you need reduced tower flex for more predictable damping, and balance the change with spring rates, shock oil and anti-roll bar settings for consistent handling.
