This gun metal aluminium rear hub carrier is a direct replacement for the TAMIYA M-07 chassis. It is designed to take the place of the stock plastic carrier, offering a stiffer mount for the rear suspension and wheel hub assembly and influencing rear suspension geometry and handling on scale touring cars.
To install, disassemble the rear suspension, remove the original carrier, and transfer wheel hub components and bearings into the new aluminium part. Confirm fitment and alignment of the wheel hub and drive components before final torqueing. Use standard small hex drivers and take care with bearing seating and thread engagement; avoid excess torque that can induce bearing preload.
As part of a setup strategy, an aluminium carrier raises rear-end rigidity compared with a plastic unit and can alter rear traction and steering balance. Incorporate this change with tyre, damper, and toe adjustments to evaluate handling improvements incrementally.
