The M07-07A is an aftermarket swing shaft created to influence rear drivetrain geometry on the TAMIYA M07 chassis. It connects transmission movement with suspension travel to alter how torque is transferred during articulation.
By changing transient torque paths, the shaft becomes a useful tuning component for rear traction and handling transitions. Evaluate its effects in combination with ride height, damper tune and toe settings rather than expecting it to solve balance issues alone.
Installing the part involves partial removal of the rear diff or transmission cover to access the existing shaft position; standard hex drivers and careful parts management are required. After installation confirm free movement and absence of interference, then perform bench rotation checks and include the shaft in regular maintenance inspections.
