Heavy-duty aluminium body support for the T3-01

This 14-piece aftermarket kit from GPM supplies an RC-scale body mount and stabiliser solution made for the TAMIYA T3-01 DANCING RIDER chassis. The set is built to support the polycarbonate shell and reduce local deformation for improved body alignment.

Main components are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium to increase stiffness compared with factory plastic parts. The kit swaps the original round stabiliser tabs for triangular units to enlarge the contact zone and lower flexing. White silicon O-rings are used to apply tension evenly rather than creating sharp clamp points, and stainless steel 2x6 cap head screws hold the assemblies together.

Fitting follows the usual body post routine: remove the stock mounts, locate the aluminium pieces on the assigned posts, fasten with the supplied screws and set O-ring tension to suit. These parts aim to stabilise the shell layout without altering suspension geometry; adjusting the O-rings lets you prioritise ease of removal or shell stability.
