Precision front gearbox lower

This aluminium front gearbox lower half is produced for TAMIYA TA01, TA02 and DF01 RC chassis and features a light blue anodized finish. As a direct plastic-to-aluminium replacement for the front gearbox bottom, the machined shell increases case rigidity and provides a simple aftermarket upgrade to improve drivetrain consistency during setup and track running.

Installation involves straightforward removal of the front gear assembly and direct replacement of the lower half. Fit with the correct hex drivers, keeping original gear alignment and bearing locations intact when mounting the aluminium case. This item is for model-scale RC use only.

In tuning work the aluminium lower helps reduce structural flex and creates a stable platform for front drivetrain components, which makes gear mesh and suspension adjustments more repeatable without altering gears or motor parts.
