The JR-TA105-BK aluminum rear shock tower takes the place of the stock rear mount on Tamiya TA01 and TA02 1/10 scale touring car chassis, providing a more rigid shock mounting surface and secure suspension link anchoring. This part is designed for model use and not for real vehicles.
The added stiffness helps keep rear geometry more consistent under braking and cornering loads and provides a stable platform when altering shock positions or trying alternative damping setups. That stability aids predictable changes to roll control and rebound tuning.
Fitting is carried out using the normal TA01/TA02 rear sub-assembly steps. Remove the existing tower, move across any necessary hardware and spacers, then secure the new tower to the chassis mounting holes. Check shock shaft clearance and ensure link movement is free before final tightening.
