Precision rear gearbox replacement for TA01/TA02/DF01

This aluminum rear gear box cover replaces the standard rear cover on Tamiya TA01, TA02 and DF01 chassis and is produced as a direct-fit component. Acting as a metal top plate, it reduces flex where the gearbox meets the chassis and provides a more stable contact area for the gearbox assembly.

The item is intended for the specified Tamiya platforms and is supplied in a red aluminum finish. It secures to the chassis at the factory mounting points. During installation, swap out the original cover for the alloy unit and verify that screws are seated correctly and that gear mesh is unchanged or adjusted as required.

For setup work the cover is designed to limit movement at the rear mounting interface, helping to keep gear alignment consistent under load and simplifying repeatable gear-mesh adjustments. Access for routine maintenance remains unchanged from the OEM cover.
