TA-02 central shaft details

The JR-TA200-GU aluminium main drive shaft with joint is made for the TAMIYA TA-02 RC chassis and finished in gun metal. It is supplied as a replacement or upgrade to the standard shaft, intended to maintain consistent power transfer through the vehicle centreline while reducing flex.

Fit the part when you detect wear or want a metal alternative for improved rotational stiffness. During installation check the joint seating and shaft straightness, and verify bearing and gearbox interfaces to ensure free rotation prior to the first run.

As a tuning note, a firmer aluminium shaft will alter drivetrain feedback under load and can change corner exit behaviour, so review suspension and differential adjustments after installation.
