12mm wheel adaptor for TA05 models

This 12mm aluminium adaptor is designed for the Tamiya TA05 lineup including TA05, TA05-IFS, TA05-R and TRF-416 and is supplied as Version 2 with a +1 degree toe change. It provides a simple way to alter wheel offset and introduce a small toe adjustment without changing hub housings or wheel hexes.

Installation is familiar to touring car builders: remove the wheel and any current adaptor or hex, fit the 12mm adaptor onto the axle/hex interface and secure with the original wheel nut or retainer. Use the right hex driver, confirm thread engagement and perform a basic alignment check on a flat surface before running.

Used for tuning, this adaptor adjusts track width and adds a slight positive toe that can sharpen initial turn-in and influence corner balance. Make single-variable changes and record setup notes so handling differences are clear when testing on carpet or paved circuits.
