This aluminium battery post set is supplied as an aftermarket replacement for Tamiya TA05-IFS and TA05-R chassis and is advertised as compatible with TA05-IFS, TA05-R, FF03 and TB03. The machined aluminium posts replace the softer original parts and resist deformation under clamp load.

During spirited track running the posts keep the battery secured through cornering and sudden acceleration. Prioritising clamp security and repeatable pack placement can simplify setup when adjusting weight distribution for handling improvements.
