These aluminum front knuckle arms are produced as replacement parts for TAMIYA TL-01, GF-01 and WR02CB chassis. Fabricated from dark blue anodized aluminum, they replace the OEM plastic knuckles to provide a firmer steering pivot and more repeatable steering performance under load, while remaining intended for RC model use.
Fitment is straightforward for anyone accustomed to TAMIYA suspension layouts: remove the stock knuckle, move across bearings or bushings if required, and fasten the aluminium arm with the original mounting hardware. Make sure steering links are aligned and fasteners are tightened to a moderate setting to avoid binding; the part is intended to match the standard steering link geometry of the listed chassis.
When used as a tuning item, the aluminium knuckle offers increased steering rigidity that can affect toe and steering response. After installation, inspect steering throw and wheel camber at rest and during travel, and make small adjustments to link lengths or servo centring to achieve the desired handling. The anodised coating reduces local wear but routine checks of bearings and pivots remain necessary.
