Precision centre gearbox for tractor trucks

This CNC-machined aluminium centre gearbox serves as a metal replacement shell to stiffen the enclosure on double-shaft tractor truck drivetrains. The design focuses on safeguarding the internal gears and improving heat transfer from the gearbox to ambient air, without any implication of full-size vehicle application.

Made from Aluminium 6061 T6 with multi-axis CNC machining, the casing is intended to resist wear and encourage heat fanning around the gearset. The 3D machined structure increases mechanical protection relative to the original plastic housing.

Fitment is aimed at double-shaft truck drivetrains where a central gearbox contains drive gears; the unit is intended as a durability and thermal management part rather than a guaranteed performance enhancer.

The kit includes the mounting hardware required to secure the casing; use the supplied screws when replacing the standard plastic housing to maintain original mounting points.
