Reinforced aluminium suspension mount for TRF 415

This machined aluminium suspension mount is an aftermarket hop-up for the Tamiya TRF 415 chassis series, carrying part number 415-01/1E/V2. The aluminium unit replaces the stock plastic mount to provide a more rigid anchor for suspension arms and the shock tower.

Function and fitment

• Compatibility: produced to fit TRF 415 mounting geometry so the original arm and tower positions are preserved on installation.
• Installation: fits in the OEM mounting points and generally uses the existing screws and hardware from the chassis; expect to remove suspension arms and the shock tower to swap parts.
• Handling impact: added rigidity reduces unwanted flex at the suspension pick-up and can deliver sharper steering feedback and more consistent shock movement while tuning.

Workshop advice

• Take care when moving screws and washers to avoid thread damage or lost fasteners during the transfer.
• After installation, check suspension droop and wheel alignment to ensure there is no binding from tighter tolerances.
• For scale RC models only; not suitable for actual vehicles.
