The Factory Pro FP-O-TCP008 is a scale bumper upper plate engineered for the Tamiya TRF421 chassis. Manufactured from graphite, it is offered as a direct-fit part to aid setup and tuning routines.

This item is intended solely for RC tuning: it fastens to the bumper area of the TRF421 and changes local stiffness and the way loads pass through the front end. Swapping in the graphite plate lets tuners evaluate differences in chassis rigidity and how those changes influence shock behaviour and steering feel without altering the suspension geometry.

Fitting is straightforward for experienced model builders: remove the current bumper upper plate from the TRF421 mounts, fit the Factory Pro graphite plate in the same positions, and confirm screw engagement and clearance. Afterwards, recheck ride height and shock alignment and run a few quick laps to verify the changes before completing your final setup.

The above refers only to an RC-scale hop-up for the Tamiya TRF421 and is not applicable to road vehicles.
