This swing shaft is an RC replacement part for Tamiya TT-01 and TT-01 TYPE E chassis carrying the TT01-01 model reference. The following notes outline the component's function within the drive assembly and the checks to perform during fitting and set-up.

The primary function is to locate the driven end of the gearbox and to transfer torque through the TT-01 lower link area. It is supplied as a direct replacement for routine maintenance and to preserve correct drivetrain alignment on on-road cars.

Fitting guidance: confirm axial alignment with the gearbox output and ensure free rotation before final clamping. Inspect mating faces on gearbox and suspension blocks for wear, and confirm the suspension moves without binding. Apply thread-lock to metal-to-plastic fixings only when the original service instructions require it.
