This urethane foam bumper is a scale replacement designed for the Tamiya TT01 platform. It serves as a front or rear cushion that soaks up low-speed impacts and helps prevent shock reaching body mounts and other chassis components on 1/10 touring cars.

Fitting is direct: remove the stock bumper and attach the foam unit to the existing bumper bracket or factory mounting locations on the TT01 chassis. The foam is intended to compress on low-energy contact and recover, so confirm there is no interference with steering linkages or suspension travel after installation.

In practice the bumper is passive hardware that changes first-impact feel and minor rebound behavior during slow collisions. Use it for workshop testing, light on-track incidents, or manoeuvring in confined spaces where predictable cushioning is preferred. Replace the unit when permanent compression or ripping affects performance.
