This aluminium bulkhead mount is an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya TT-01 Type-E chassis, intended to swap in for the original plastic bulkhead and give a firmer platform around the gearbox area to keep drivetrain parts aligned.

CNC-machined from aluminium, the component concentrates on dimensional stability and repeatable mounting points. In practice it helps maintain correct spur and pinion spacing and reduces flex compared with the stock plastic part.

Fitting is straightforward for anyone familiar with TT-01 Type-E maintenance: remove the existing fasteners, transfer bearings and internal pieces into the new mount, and tighten using the standard hex drivers from your tool kit.
