This aftermarket plate is made for the Tamiya TT02 chassis and replaces the standard battery mounting area with an alloy plate that contains an integrated heat sink. Installation is simple: the plate secures to the TT02 battery bay using the chassis original mounting points and common fasteners, preserving existing battery lead routing. Check strap alignment and battery position before final tightening to prevent movement during running.
In setup and service the alloy plate provides a stiffer mounting base and the heat sink surface can help transfer heat away from the battery area during extended use or testing different battery setups.
