This graphite battery plate is an RC accessory purpose-made for the Tamiya TT-02 chassis. The graphite construction offers a rigid surface to clamp the battery while keeping the assembly weight minimal. The component is finished in black to complement touring car builds and reduce visible marks.

Fitting is direct for those who know the TT-02 layout: replace the original battery holder and secure this plate using the chassis' existing mounting points. Do not alter the mounting holes or fabricate new attachment points; use the intended fasteners and ensure the battery is held firmly without lateral play.

From a setup perspective, swapping to graphite changes how the battery mass interacts with the chassis compared to stock plastic parts. Use measured fore-aft shifts to adjust front/rear balance and avoid large jumps when dialling in handling. The increased rigidity around the battery pocket can alter chassis feedback and suspension behaviour.
