This rear upper tie rod is an aftermarket component for the Tamiya TT02B platform, combining a resilient spring steel centre section with plastic ball ends to mate with existing suspension link points while limiting extra weight.

Fitment is a like-for-like swap: remove the OEM rear upper rod and install this unit into the same rear bulkhead and suspension mounts. After installation, confirm rear toe and check that the suspension moves freely through its travel; adjust toe slightly by rotating the rod if your chassis layout permits.

For tuning, the spring steel centre increases link stiffness compared with typical all-plastic parts, which helps keep rear toe more consistent during braking and when cornering on 1/10 scale touring cars. It works well as a direct replacement or as a staged upgrade to rear-end stiffness.
