This alloy front C-hub is a precision-machined replacement for the TAMIYA TT-02B and DF-02 chassis. The light-blue aluminium unit replaces the original plastic part to deliver a firmer steering mount and better resistance to flex on 1/10-scale touring and drift cars.
Fitting is aimed at hobbyists familiar with basic chassis maintenance: remove the stock C-hub, transfer any usable pins or bushings, and secure the new hub with the existing hardware. Once fitted, verify kingpin alignment and wheel bearing fitment, and then recheck toe and camber settings since material differences can influence geometry. Adopt standard RC build procedures—start fasteners by hand, then finish to an appropriate snug torque; use threadlocker where necessary.
Handling notes: the aluminium hub reduces front-end compliance under load, helping steering remain stable during braking and through turns. Expect incremental changes rather than radical handling shifts; pair the hub with suspension and alignment changes to dial in on-track behaviour.
