This aluminium alloy motor mount serves as an aftermarket replacement for the motor plate area on the Tamiya TT02 and TT02B chassis. It is built to accept 16T to 25T pinions and provides a slotted mounting area so the motor can be moved laterally for accurate pinion-spur engagement.
The mount is useful when changing pinion sizes or reducing gear noise by improving mesh. Its slot allows controlled incremental movement so you can set alignment precisely, check gear rotation for smooth contact, then secure the assembly.
Fitting is straightforward: remove the motor from the original plate, attach it to the adjustable bracket, adjust engagement while turning the spur to inspect mesh, and then fasten securely. Supplied as a single piece for tuning and maintenance activities.
