This is an aftermarket machined aluminum shock tower designed specifically for the Tamiya WR01 and WT01 models. The single black anodized unit is stamped JR-WR101-BK and replaces the lower shock mount area at either the front or rear of the chassis to provide a stronger anchor point.
As a hop-up, the stronger tower reduces localized flex and secures the shock lower mounts better than the stock plastic part. Drivers will typically notice a firmer suspension response and improved steering precision under load, particularly when using firmer springs or thicker damper oils.
Installation is straightforward using the WR01/WT01 factory mounting positions and original fixings. Check that the shock shafts and mounting screws align correctly before final assembly to prevent binding. Any additional hardware or tools must be confirmed with the seller.
