Aluminium front C-hub for the XV-01

This aluminium front C-hub is made for the TAMIYA XV-01 chassis and supplied as a 1pr replacement, model XV019. It replaces the stock plastic C-hub and is aimed at modellers refining steering and front suspension on 1/10 scale machines.

The alloy construction gives a firmer mounting point for the steering knuckle and can alter steering feedback and suspension behaviour compared with standard plastic components. The part fits the XV-01 front assembly and is sold as one pair (1pr).

Installation is straightforward for those comfortable with routine chassis maintenance: remove the factory C-hub, transfer bearings or pins as required, and fix the alloy hub using the original mounting hardware. No special tools are supplied and fasteners should be tightened to the chassis manufacturer's recommendations.

Fitting an alloy C-hub will typically change steering response and mounting repeatability slightly. Use it as part of a full setup review that includes wheel alignment, damper settings and tyre selection rather than expecting a single dramatic change.
