Fitment Notes for TAMIYA XV-01

This aluminium front knuckle arm set is intended for the TAMIYA XV-01 chassis and is listed under the JR-XV100-BK part code. The components replace stock plastic knuckles to provide a firmer steering mounting point on scale competition and club cars.

The black anodized surface increases surface durability in normal hobby conditions and the parts are intended to align with existing XV-01 steering assemblies and suspension pick-up points. Installation normally involves removing the stock knuckles and transferring any bearings and fasteners from the original parts before fitting the aluminium pieces, followed by checks for steering throw and alignment.

Be aware that aluminium knuckles change how loads transfer through the front suspension, which can reduce hub flex and alter steering response. After fitting metal hop-ups confirm wheel camber and toe settings and inspect for binding at full lock to avoid accelerated wear on steering linkages or the servo.
